Murray Gadd

This week, Grade 10 had a visit from literacy expert Murray Gadd, who has come all the way from New Zealand to help NISS with reading and writing skills.

He used Anthony Browne's 'Zoo' to help us polish our inference skills by analysing and synthesising the text and the images to create a clear opinion about one of the characters.

We are going to put this learning into practice when analysing the short stories we are reading, as well using it to help us construct effective narratives of our own.
